Quirky yet elegant, utilizing cat hair in fiber arts is not only a great use of available resources, but it is also a unique way to bring us even closer to the cats we love. I design and handcraft one of a kind keepsakes and accessories out of love and adoration for cats. Check out my gallery to see my latest creations. Most listed items are available custom for you with your cat’s hair. Occasionally, pieces will be available for purchase in the shop. All of my cat hair is lovingly gathered from friends, family, and professional groomers without any discomfort to the cats.
Most of my work is felted; using nuno, wet and needle felting techniques or a combination of felting methods. I also offer custom handspun cat hair yarn. You supply your cat’s hair and I do the rest. While longer hair makes for a better yarn product, I can utilize all lengths of hair for all other products.
