• LAST CALL!! Please contact us if you are interested in taking part in the Walk for the Animals; Saturday, March 3, at 8 a.m., at the Huizenga Plaza, downtown Fort Lauderdale. Broward County Animal Care will be showing their support for the Humane Society of Broward County and this worthy cause. We are currently seeking participants who would like to walk the 1.25 route with us that day. For more information on how to get on the Animal Care team, please call Lisa at 954-359-1010.

Special Volunteer Help needed for our Lost and Found phone line. Each day we receive a high volume of calls from members of the public who have lost their pets. So, if you have great listening skills and amazing phone etiquette, we need your help! Please visit our website, broward.org/animal,click VOLUNTEER and print and complete a Volunteer Application. Want to Make a HUGE Difference? Be a Foster Parent!We still have a tremendous need for foster parents to give aid to pets in need of extra care. Fostering is a full-time job, but if you have the time and dedication, you can make a difference to these pets. You must be a Broward County resident, 18 years old, and complete a Foster Application. For information, contact our Foster Program Coordinator at 954-359-1313 ext. 9271.

Hey! It’s Me, Scout! I’m still in need of a loving family! I enjoy the outdoors and really know how to have a good time! I will do best in a household where I am the only pet and where I can play with older kids. I am a great gal and I promise you won’t be sorry once you meet me. My adoption fee is only $25! I am located at the Fort Lauderdale Adoption Center, 1870 S.W. 39th St. We are open for adoptions this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Super Paw Challenge! Don’t forget, adopt a dog or cat at our Adoption Center this weekend and you will be able to enter your name in a raffle in order to guess the winner of the Super Bowl. On Monday, February 5, we will draw a name from the winning team’s bowl and award a special pet gift basket to the lucky Super Paw winner!! GO PATS! GO GIANTS!
