CEI’s CFA 32nd Annual Cat Show!
October 15 & 16, 2011 

 

– A Florida Panther & Other Wildlife exhibited the entire weekend
– Family fun for everyone! Facepainting & hundreds of raffles!
– Over 200 Pedigreed cats on display and in competition
– Dozens of cats and kittens from our no-kill adoption center will be looking for the perfect person to share their love with! Adoptions will be going on for both days!
– More than 30 Booths featuring cat specialty items and more!
– Special Halloween costume contest. All cats entered in the show are welcome to participate!
 
All profits from the entries, admissions and raffles will go to support Cats Exclusive’s spay, neuter and adoption facility in Margate, Florida.

Cats Exclusive Goes To Dogs!

 

We are pleased to announce that Cats Exclusive is offering expanded services to our smaller canine companions under 25lbs.  Many of you have already benefited from our vaccines clinics which offer routine vaccines and heartworm testing.  We also offer routine dental cleanings, wellness visits, and spay/neuter surgery for our canine companions.  All feline and canine patients will be isolated to offer as stress free an environment as possible.  Day and times may be limited so please call and ask if we can accomodate your pet! World Rabies Day

Cats Exclusive, Inc. participated in promoting World Rabies Day by offering $5 Rabies vaccines from September 26 – October 1! If you were not able to make it you can still get a Rabies vaccine for your cat or dog for a low cost at $10! 

 

Rabies is a very serious yet preventable disease present all over the world today.  September 28, 2011 signified World Rabies Day in order to help promote awareness about Rabies and vaccinating your pet.  Rabies is a virus that is spread through the saliva of infected animals and hence is commonly spread through bite wounds.  Signs can vary greatly but may include neurologic conditions such as excessive salivating, over grooming, seizures, or disorientation.  Many cats who roam outdoors are susceptible.  It is also important to keep indoor animals up to date to prevent any accidental exposure in case of an escape.  Wild animals such as skunks, foxes, and raccoons continue to be a source of Rabies.  
 
There is also a very serious health concern for humans as rabies is highly fatal.  Should you be biten by a rabid animal or even an suspect animal you should seek medical attention immediately.
