Never underestimate a pet’s resourcefulness. They are courious about the outside of your home. As a groomer I receive pictures of cats mailed to my home, inquiring, have your seen my cats?  Actually there are countless stories of cats leaving their secure homes on so many ways, it just shows they are very creative. You never know when a natural disaster or severe weather will happen in your area. The kitties get excited and anxious and flee their property. Shelters often receive animals that, according to their owners, “never leave the house.” Thank you for reading my short story on micro-chipping your pets. I just receive so many phone call and pictures of their beloved cat that escaped that I just had to write this.
